Job Summary:

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for managing a specific department within our store, ensuring its commercial success while maintaining high standards of customer service, visual merchandising, and team performance. You will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Performance: Drive department sales by analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities, and implementing action plans to meet and exceed targets.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise department staff, fostering a motivated and high-performing team.

  • Merchandising & Inventory: Ensure optimal stock levels, oversee product displays, and maintain an attractive, well-organized department that aligns with brand standards.

  • Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Operational Efficiency: Manage daily department operations, including opening/closing procedures, promotions, and compliance with company policies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Store Manager and other department heads to align strategies and achieve overall store objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 3+ years in retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or department management role.

  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.

  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of sales metrics, inventory management, and retail trends.

  • Customer-Centric: Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and adapt to business needs.
