Job Summary:
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth store functioning, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in staff management, sales performance, inventory control, and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist in merchandising.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Train and onboard new employees, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Analyze sales reports and suggest strategies to improve performance.
Step in as acting Store Manager when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Leadership: Strong team management and coaching skills.
Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional service.
Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
